NIIJII Restaurant in Grand Traverse Resort and Spa

Welcome to NIIJII Restaurant, located off the main lobby at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. NIIJII offers an elevated casual dining experience with a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options to enjoy during your stay.

Formerly known as Sweetwater American Bistro, the newly renovated NIIJII Restaurant provides a fresh dining experience to guests of the Resort. NIIJII Restaurant’s modern space and unique menu was designed with cultural touches celebrating the heritage of our owners, the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. NIIJII is the Anishinaabe spelling for "friend."
